First Cheetah, on to Lion killing Impala and then being chased by 40 elephants - A real wildlife adventure update!

Our Canadian friends had a fantastic day in Ruaha National Park. After a good breakfast at Mwagusi Safari Camp, the day started by meeting a Cheetah up close!

Next highlight was lions killing a baby Impala, right in front of the car. They met a group of Hippos on land, saw a lot of impala, zebra, giraffe and eland.

Lion King

To end the day as it started - they "made sure" to be chased by a herd of 40 elephants - maybe this was the time to return to the bonfire at Mwagusi Safari Camp for a better dinner and a good night sleep - to dream of what tomorrows safari brings...

Swedish ladies enjoying Mikumi National Park

After a interesting week visiting development projects in southwestern Tanzania, the ladies enjoyed two days in Mikumi! Overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Camp with it's waterholes, and early this morning meeting a mating Lion couple - and enjoying the view for two hours - together with the giraffes, zebras and buffaloes - and of course hundreds of Impala's - will definitely be one of the highlights of their stay in Tanzania!
