The long way to Selous (and overnight at Selous Wilderness Camp)...
To get to Selous Game Reserve from Mikumi by the day, you need to leave as early as you can in the morning. So we did. The trip takes many hours – you'll arrive late afternoon – but it will be nice to have a look around, while driving. Especially while crossing the Uluguru Mountains, right after Morogoro town: such a unique, colorful landscape... people, villages in a rich green vegetation.
Once in Selous, the way to our new accommodation - Selous Wilderness Camp - has been a surprise! We crossed the river by boat, and the place was right there, hidden in the dense vegetation.
